MG’s Notes

I finally was able to join some friends for a game night to play Dungeons and Dragons.  I played briefly when I was younger, and at first I was reluctant to try again.  I’m glad I did, as playing with friends destroyed some of the stereotypes I had about the genre.  I’ve posted fotos to flickr, and hopefully those who participated will leave comments there.  (they were from my cellphone, and not photoshopped)  As you can see, there was much goofing around, but I think the paper helmets worked.

Tonight I uploaded my first video to YouTube.  Its from a concert I filmed this past summer in Skokie, IL.  Rough in spots, it was shot to be used later as part of a music video.  I can be pretty hard on myself and notice all the things I could improve with my shooting, but instead I’ll just enjoy the music.

I had a nice weekend. My main goal was to rest after recovering from a stomach illness.

Saturday night we celebrated Kat’s birthday with games, and I got some nice photos. The picture is a rough poster from the event.
